The Health Check has determined that one of the certificates installed on the server is due to expire within the specified threshold.
To enhace the security of in-transit data, a certificate can be installed. These certificates have expiration dates. To ensure there is full functionality, and security is maintained, they need to be renewed.
The Health Check monitors the certificate's expiration date, and when it is closer than the set number of days, an alert will be sent. Due to the renewal process sometimes taking a number of days, this warning is only sent once a week until there is less than seven days left, then the warning is sent once daily.
Engage with the corporate department who manage the issuing of certificates so a new certificate can be purchased.
Once the new certificate has been issued, update the system with the expiring certificate.
NOTE: If you have any questions, please contact AP ENPS Support before making changes to the HealthCheck configurations.
There are thresholds set within \configurables\hc-custom_config.ps1. With the default being:
[int]$global:HC_Theshold_SSL_Days_To_Expiry = 31 # Number of days before SSL expires (Default = 31)
[string]$global:HC_Day_To_Send_SSL_Exiry_Msg = "Monday" # Day of week to send SSL notifications (Default = Monday)
