HealthCheck Assistance
When a user successfully logs in and out of ENPS, Playbook or Mobile a record is maintained so that access can be audited. The Health Check can be configured to attached the previous months audit logs to the summary e-mail. For example; for the report received on the first of June will include the audit logs for May, the month preceding. This occurs once a month only!
To enable this functionality, first the NOM needs to be installed on the instance being monitored as this is the only application which audits access, and Heartbeat Summary e-mail notifications need to be enabled. This would typically be on the ENPS Primary Server.
NOTE: If you have any questions, please contact AP ENPS Support before making changes to the HealthCheck configurations.
To enable this it is set within \hc\hc-static_config.ps1. With the default being:
$global:HC_AP_Mail_Heartbeat_Audit_Logs = $true # Enable audit logs for previous month to be attached to HeartBeat Mail message
A further configuration is able to be set which determines the day the audit logs will be attached to the summary e-mail. This variable is in the same file and is:
[int]$global:HC_AP_Mail_Heartbeat_Send_Schedule_Monthly_Day = "01" # If monthly, the day of the month the HeartBeat mail is sent.
